The key features of the student support and progression at our college include providing essential help to students, enabling them to gain insightful learning experiences on campus, and promoting their overall growth and progression. The system also monitors student performance, studies alumni profiles, and tracks students’ progress into further education and gainful employment.

STUDENT MENTORING

Mentor/Mentee system :Each class is under a class tutor as mentor. Mentor  is responsible for all class-related activities  and is responsible for the smooth running of each class.  The tutor meets with the students of the class, informs them about the common program and discusses various aspects related to academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.  Mentors teach and provide instructions to students and ensure that classroom activities run smoothly and efficiently.  Mentors are also class advisors who maintain close relationships with students and parents.  Complaints from students are first reported to the class teacher. Class tutors closely with other teachers to do what is best for their student community.

CAREER GUIDANCE CELL

Career Guidance cell is an integral part of the college. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the off campus and on campus selection programmes.

  • The college has an active Career Counselling Centre.
  • In collaboration with the District Employment Exchange and the DCE the program promotes student awareness about central government jobs, recruitment processes, and the need to become financially independent.
  • Recognizing the need for economic development of the country, the Chairman of TIDITSSIA enlightened the students about the role of entrepreneurs.
  • Overall, the Career Guidance Center plays a dynamic role in responding to the needs of students by promoting their all-round development.
